Lego Homer Simpson Minifig – Simpsons Series 2

Doh!  You found him!  Homer was trying to hide from you and avoid work, but you caught him in his Sunday Best!  I think he is getting ready for a date night with Marge.  Let’s find out.

Homer Simpson is part of the new Lego Simpsons Series 2 minifigure collection released in early 2014.  These are mystery bags, where you can’t see what minifigure you are going to get before you open it, so each one is a surprise.

If you can’t find any of the Yellow bags at your local Target, Toys R Us, or Lego store, you can always check Amazon.   That’s where I find the best prices all the time. But sometimes I don’t like to wait for the minifigs to be shipped, so I go to one of the other stores if I need them right away.

Date night Homer has a blue torso with blue pants.  This is the most dressed up I’ve ever seen Homer Simpson in Lego form.  He his holding a 2×2 tile that has a printed valentine on it.  As with all minifigures in this series he has a black 3×4 base plate that he stands on.

Also in the bag is a folded sheet with all the different characters that you can collect on one side, and the back has more information about the series.

This is what the official Lego website says about the Homer Simpson Minifig:

Homer Simpson may not be the most attentive husband around, but he sure loves his wife Marge. So when an important occasion or anniversary arrives (and by some miracle he remembers it), Homer dresses to the nines and acts the proper gentleman for her benefit. On rare occasions, he’s even been known to say “please” and “thank you.” What a guy Date Night Homer is!

What do you like about the Homer Simpson Minifig?  Is he your favorite?  Tell me in the comments below!
