Woo hoo! Another Minifig! Day 8 of the Lego 2014 Star Wars Advent Calender brings us a snow storm trooper, or a snow trooper as some people like to call him
I love minifigures, and you can never have enough Imperial Storm Troopers. How else are you going to build an army of them to battle with the rebels on the ice planet Hoth?
This one is dressed for cold weather battle, and has a printed face. Many of the early storm troopers from previous years don’t have printed faces, but these do. Which I like. Plus this one has grey hands, which makes it look like he has gloves on.
Amazon.com has lots of Lego set 75056 – The Star Wars 2014 advent calendar still in stock as I write this, so be sure to get yours ordered today and you can still build some before Christmas..
The Lego Advent Calendars follow a simple principle, there are 24 different mini sets each hidden behind a numbered door inside the Lego Box. You don’t open the box like a regular Lego Set, but instead, the lid is hinged, and the box opens up so that the back of the lid is a printed play-space, and then there are 24 different perforated doors.
Some people like to open each of the 24 sets all at once, but I prefer to open the first set on Dec 1, the 2nd on Dec, and so forth, all the way to Christmas Eve when I open the very last one.
This is what the Official Lego website has to say about the 2014 Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar:
Spend the festive period on icy planet Hoth with the LEGO® Star Wars™ Advent Calendar! Open up a door each December day to reveal a cool Star Wars themed gift, including minifigures starships, vehicles and more. Once you have all 24 gifts, unfold the playmat and act out hilarious Hoth-based scenes that everyone in the family will love to watch. This is the perfect holiday gift for LEGO Star Wars fans from any galaxy!
