Lego Star Wars 2014 Advent Calendar Day 6

Lego Star Wars 2014 Advent Calendar Day 6

We are now a quarter of the way done with Advent, and on day 6 we get another micro set, a Vulture Drone, as part of the 2014 Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar set.

Following the same color scheme as Day 1, this Vulture drone, another Clone Wars item comes to us on Day 6 of Lego advent.  The same blue and grey colors.  This is one of the best uses of 9 pieces of Lego I’ve ever seen.  It can work in both fly or walk mode and is a pretty good representation of the original item.

My regular readers know that I buy all my Lego sets from the store at Amazon.com  Lego set 75056 – The  Star Wars 2014 advent calendar is still in stock as I write this, so be sure to get yours ordered today and you can still build some before Christmas..

This is what the Official Lego website has to say about the 2014 Lego Star Wars Advent Calendar:

Spend the festive period on icy planet Hoth with the LEGO® Star Wars™ Advent Calendar! Open up a door each December day to reveal a cool Star Wars themed gift, including minifigures starships, vehicles and more. Once you have all 24 gifts, unfold the playmat and act out hilarious Hoth-based scenes that everyone in the family will love to watch. This is the perfect holiday gift for LEGO Star Wars fans from any galaxy!

The Lego Advent Calendars follow a simple principle, there are 24 different mini sets each hidden behind a numbered door inside the Lego Box.  You don’t open the box like a regular Lego Set, but instead,  the lid is hinged, and the box opens up so that the back of the lid is a printed play-space, and then there are 24 different perforated doors.

Lego Star Wars 2014 Advent CalendarSome people like to open each of the 24 sets all at once, but I prefer to open the first set on Dec 1, the 2nd on Dec, and so forth, all the way to Christmas Eve when I open the very last one.

What is your favorite day in this set?  I’ll tell you mine at the very end!  Leave your comment below.
